Long-time religion specialist elected chair

Cecile S. Holmes, who had a distinguished career as a religion editor for the Houston Chronicle and who is now on the University of South Carolina faculty, was elected RMIG chair for the 2011-2012 year. David Scott, at Utah Valley University, was elected vice-chair. Together, Holmes and Scott will represent RMIG at the December chip auction, when divisions and interest groups collaborate to create the Annual Conference schedule.
